How you can conserve water around your school. The Department of Public Instruction and the Department of Natural Resources encourage public and private schools to conserve natural resources and maintain healthy and safe school environments through their Green & Healthy Schools program. The Program is a web-based, voluntary program available to all schools across Wisconsin that encourages teachers, staff, students, and parents to work together to use the school, its grounds and the community as learning tools to teach, promote and apply healthy, safe and environmentally sound practices.
