Reports To: Community Engagement Coordinator

General Summary:

The Every Drop Educator will assist with educating the community and homeowners of the importance of improving watershed water quality through community-based green solutions.  The educator will be contacted by the Community Engagement Coordinator regarding scheduled speaking engagements in the community.  Interested candidates will complete the application process, along with 2-4hr training.  Time commitment varies.  If tabling an event candidate should allow 2-4hrs.  If only presenting at event anticipate about 30min.  For further information contact Jessica Kane, Community Engagement Coordinator.

Reports To: Community Development Coordinator

General Summary:

The Every Drop Project Lead will utilize expertise in leading a team of 4 volunteers to install rain gardens, rain barrels, tree planting, and/or native plant gardens.  The Project Lead will be contacted by the Community Engagement Coordinator regarding scheduled installations.  Interested candidates will complete the application process, along with 2-4hrs of training and orientation.

Additional qualifications, candidates must have completed 2 installations under supervision of each storm water BMP.  The time commitment varies based on the type of installation assisting with.   Time commitments are as follows:

  • Rain Garden Installation: 4–6hrs
  • Rain Barrel Installation: 1–2hrs
  • Tree/Native Plant Installation: 1–2hrs

Reports To: Community Development Coordinator

The Every Drop Installer will assist with installing rain gardens, rain barrels, tree planting, and/or native plant gardens.  These volunteer positions are seasonal, no experience necessary.  The time commitment varies based on the type of installation assisting with.   Time commitments are as follows:

  • Rain Garden Installation: 4-6hrs
  • Rain Barrel Installation: 1-2hrs
  • Tree/Native Plant Installation: 1-2hrs
